Clothes and people
Who has never felt like second in everything?
The last in line, in life (...)
It's as if nothing could ever fit us well: clothes and people.
Sometimes, I just wish I had a place where I could be big and nothing at the same time.
Finally unpack my immense existence and wear it like wings, ready to take off.
For now, I continue to drag the half-me wherever I go.
I lift my head, nod, wave—I can barely breathe.
I hold my cracks together, tight as seams, so the world believes I am whole.
